Northborough Turkey Trot
Thanksgiving Day Charity Run/Walk

Where: Zeh School, 33 Howard Street

NORTHBOROUGH: The 5K run and 3K walk both begin & end at Zeh School. This year the funds raised will be donated to the  Northborough Recreation Department. Both courses wind thru residential neighborhoods - all streets closed to traffic by the Northborough Police during the race.
 
  • 5K Run Route - Howard, Church, Fay, Valentine, left on Howard, Mohawk, Iroquois, Mohecan, Mohawk, Washburn, Howard, arrive at Zeh School
  • 3K Walk Route - Howard, Church, Fay, Valentine, Right on Howard, arrive at Zeh School
     
The entry fee is $20 for ages 6+. Children aged 5 and under are free. Due to the uncertainty resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no race shirts this year.

Bib pickup up is at the Core Connection, 290 W. Main Street on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Times will be posted closer to race day.

Walk-in registrations after noon on Wednesday must paid for by cash or check ($20 per runner; ages 5 & under free). Walk-in registration can be done at bib pickup or on race day. Race day registration is from 7-7:30am only.

The Space Torah: An Extraordinary Journey into Outer Space

CONCORD: In 1996, NASA astronaut Dr. Jeff Hoffman, Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT,  brought a small Torah scroll on board Space Shuttle Columbia. On Shabbat, while orbiting Earth, he read from the book of Genesis, “In the beginning God created heaven and the earth.”  Join the Kerem Shalom community to watch the inspiring documentary, Space Torah, about Hoffman’s journey into outer space. After the screening, Hoffman and Kerem Shalom member Alan Lightman, Professor of the Practice of the Humanities at MIT, will discuss the many dimensions explored in the documentary—religious, spiritual, scientific, educational, and personal.
